RetainedCo
How retained experience works
One clear process for firms and professionals. The purpose is not to fill a role. It is to bring the right judgement into the work at the moment it is needed.
01
Describe what you need
Write the outcome, hours, timeline, budget and delivery mode in your own words. The brief takes shape as you write, and nothing is sent until you say so.
02
Receive personal introductions
Within 48 hours, RetainedCo introduces two or three proven practitioners whose experience fits the work. Each introduction names the professional, their relevant tenure and their availability. A professional contacted directly has 48 hours to accept or decline.
03
Agree the shape
Rates are not published. A professional’s rate range is disclosed when they accept your brief, and the figure you see is recorded at that point. You agree the cadence, hours and intended outcome before work begins.
04
Work with retained experience
Each engagement has its own message thread. Times are proposed and agreed there, the professional supplies the meeting link, and a calendar invitation goes to both diaries. Nothing is charged while the work is under way.
05
Confirm completion
The professional marks the engagement complete and you confirm it, or it confirms automatically after 72 hours. Engagements up to $5,000 are charged to the card authorised at booking. Larger engagements are invoiced through Stripe on completion, payable within ten days. A GST-compliant receipt follows either way.
06
Review privately first
What you write is never published as a quote. A public average appears on a professional’s profile only once at least three reviews exist. Below that threshold, nothing is shown.
What you will not find
No public rate card. No bidding for work. No urgency theatre. No generic talent pool. RetainedCo is built around personal introductions, professional discretion and relationships that can continue when they are useful.
