Mentorship grounded in real work
This is not a course or generic coaching programme. It is a standing relationship with a proven practitioner: a former CIO, COO or senior specialist who understands the function, the pressure and the trade-offs. Sessions centre on the work you are actually carrying — a system transition, a vendor decision, a team you have inherited or a role you are growing into.
Built around your cadence
You set the hours and rhythm. The relationship can support a defined project, a recurring decision forum or the longer transfer of judgement. It continues while it is useful and ends when it is not.
How an introduction works
Describe the outcome, context, hours and timeline in your own words. Within 48 hours, RetainedCo introduces two or three professionals whose experience fits what you are carrying, each named with their relevant tenure and availability. You choose whom to engage and on what cadence.
What it costs
You pay the professional’s hourly rate plus 10% GST. Their rate range is disclosed when they accept your brief. The platform fee is deducted from their payout and is never added to your bill. Your card is authorised when you book and charged only when the engagement completes.
