RetainedCo
Your experience still matters.
Retirement does not reduce the value of judgement. RetainedCo lets experienced investment professionals stay connected to the industry on their own terms: share knowledge, mentor future leaders and support firms when experience matters most.
If a foundation member has forwarded you a private onboarding link, open it directly; it carries your invitation.
Experience, retained on your terms
You set the hours you are willing to contribute, the kinds of firms you will work with and the shape of engagements you will accept. Upload your CV and we draft your profile; nothing is published until you confirm it.
Introductions, not self-marketing
You are never asked to pitch for work. When a firm’s brief suits the shape you have set, it arrives by email and waits under My briefs. Introductions are made personally: two or three professionals to a brief, within 48 hours, each named with relevant tenure and availability.
Your rate stays yours
Your rate range never appears publicly. It is disclosed to a firm only when you accept their brief, and the figure they see is recorded at acceptance. Adjusting your range later does not rewrite an engagement already agreed.
Built around working in retirement
RetainedCo is designed to keep you connected to the profession without returning to a full-time role. You choose the hours and engagements you accept. Payouts are structured to support compliance with the Australian superannuation fifteen-hour rule.
How you are paid
Nothing is charged to the firm until the engagement completes. Stripe delivers funds to your nominated Australian bank account and handles ATO reporting. The platform fee is 6% of the engagement subtotal, capped at $30 per booking, and is deducted before your payout — never added to the firm’s bill. On short advisory engagements you may require a $150 deposit, forfeited to you in full if the firm does not show.
